Kansas City

My 3Oth(yes, 3O) birthday is on Wednesday, so we thought we would use that as an excuse to take a little get away. :)We took a two day trip to Kansas City. It might just be my new favorite place. It's not that far away and we found lots of fun things to do. We stayed at the Great Wolfe Lodge. It has an indoor water park, which we took full advantage of while we were there. We all had so much fun! I think I hear a summer trip to Kansas City calling our name. :)

Of course, Daddy insisted our very first stop should be at Cabela's. We didn't mind. We found lots of things to keep us busy, while Daddy did a little shopping.

We had dinner at T-Rex. Marion Clare loved all the dinosaurs and fish. It was such a neat place with an amazing atmosphere for kiddos. Pretty sure she stayed in her seat for at least 10 minutes(which doesn't happen very often). She's such a busy little rascal. :)

The next morning we went to a little indoor playground/coffee shop. A perfect place for everyone. :) It had an indoor playground, bounce houses, a dramatic play area, and even an art room.

That afternoon we made our way to the water park. I'm pretty sure Marion Clare went down those slides at least 756 times. :) Seriously, I'm not exaggerating. This was obviously her favorite part of the water park.

We even had some snow. I'm glad it was there and not in NWA. I'm pretty sure we've had our fair share of snow this year.

We had one more adventure in the water park this morning before heading home.
